I am on 75mcg levothyroxine and about a month or so ago was put on Atorvastatin at the same time as other meds. After a few days I suffered terrible stomach pains - due to statins and some of the other meds taken causing constipation.
Here's what my endo advised me when I got prescribed Levothyroxine last Tuesday: Food intake should be 30 minutes to an hour after Levothyroxine intake. Other meds are advised to be taken at least 4 hours before or after Levothyroxine intake especially those meds that contain calcium, iron, antacids, etc.
No. These drugs are each meant to be separated from other meds. The time frame for both is generally 30 mins. I would take the levothyroxine

the first thing i have to do is pull a bottle of levothyroxine out of the cabinet. On meds the gray stopped but still struggles with the other

I feel really dumb about this. I usually take my levothyroxine at 6am and snooze for a bit. Last night, for some reason I was on autopilot and I ended up taking the levothyroxine AGAIN instead of the other med I take at night! Ughhhh. So after I realized my mistake I just took the other med.
She may be sick, but that doesn't excuse not sharing her desires with her husband.
And while she may be under control with the meds, that brings up two other problems :
1) MAYBE they can be adjusted, but right now with the meds she's just not the person he was in love with.
2) What guarantee does he have that she won't go off the meds, or that they will keep working?
